Hack facebook account - Facebook freezer

Today i thought to tell you a method to hack a facebook account,This is not actuallyhacking facebook account but preventing the victim to login into his facebook account.


Principle behind working:

Facebook has security feature in which after 25 or so logins the account is temporarily disabled,to enablethe account the account owner must reset his/her account

Thus, even when victim tries to login his Facebook account using correct password, he is not able to login to his Facebook account, thus you can hack Facebook account thanks to Facebook Freezer. 

This Facebook Freezer works cool on windows xp and windows vista (even supports earlier version of windows).


Hack Facebook account - Facebook freezer


1.Download Facebook freezer to hack facebook account.
  
2.Now extract the files into a folder 
  
3.Now, run FacebookFreezer.exe file to get this:

4.Simply enter email id of victim whose you wanna hack Facebook account using Facebook freezer and hit "Freeze".


5.That's it. You will now be able to hack Facebook account using this Facebook freezer. This freezing will continue until you hit "Stop Freezing".

Firesheep Makes Facebook Hacking Easy.

Recently a new firefox addon Firesheep have been a cause of thousands of email accounts, As reported by techcurnch, Firesheep has been downloaded more than 104,000 times in roughly last 24 hours, With Firesheep the hacker can control any account without even knowing the username and password of the desired account, As Facebook is worlds most popular Social Networking website, therefore it has been the major victim of it, Firesheep uses Http Session hijacking attack to gain unauthorized access to a Facebook or any other account

What is Session Hijacking?

In a Http session hijacking attack an attacker steals victims cookies, Cookies stores all the necessary Information about one’s account , using this information you can hack anybody’s account and change his password. If you get the Cookies of the Victim you can Hack any account the Victim is Logged into i.e. you can hack Facebook Google, Yahoo, Orkut, Flickr etc or any other email account

How can a Hacker use Firesheep to Hack a Facebook or any other account?

Now I will tell you how can a hacker use firesheep to hack a facebook or any other account, You will need the following things:

• Public wifi access
• winpcap
  
• Firesheep(Download)

Method

1. First of all download "Firesheep" from the above link and use the "openwith" option in the firefox browser

2. Once you have installed firesheep on firefox web browser, Click on view at the top, then goto sidebar and click on Firesheep

3. Now click on the top left button "Start capturing" and it will start to capture the session cookies of people in your wifi network, This will show you the list of those people whose cookies are captured and have visited unsecured website known to firesheep, Double click on the photo and you will be logged in instantly

WIFI ATTACKS AND SECURITY

Friends as some time we have the problem  of Wifi attacks ,
 The series consists of three parts and will be covered . In the first Part i will explains about the very basics of Wifi Attacks and security. Before moving on to the advanced stuff as WEP and WPA Cracking, You need to have the basic idea of how a wifi connection works.

Wifi stands for Wireless Fidelity, Its a device that performs the functions of a router but also includes the functions of a wireless access point and a network switch.
They are commonly used to allow access to the Internet or a computer networks without the need for a cabled connection. Wifi is commonly used in airports , Offices etc
How Wifi Works?


The working of Wifi is pretty simple to understand. The components of wireless network includes a communication device such as a laptop or a cell pone etc, a router and internet connection
The communication device which has a wireless compatibility ( laptops )converts the data in the form of radio waves and transmits it to the router, through an antenna. The router receives the signal and decodes it. The router sends the information to the Internet using a physical, wired Ethernet connection.

The reverse communication follows the same ( i.e) the router receiving information from the Internet, translating it into a radio signals and sending it to the computer's wireless adapter.

Whats the Danger?

Security is an important part of a home wireless network. If you set your router to create an open hotspot, anyone who has a wireless card will be able to use your signal. And he/she will be able to use your internet connection .

To protect and keep our internet private we can use one the following encryptions

WEP

Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) is a weak security algorithm for wireless networks. Its intention was to provide data confidentiality comparable to that of a traditional wired network. WEP, recognizable by the key of 10 or 26 hexadecimal digits, Its widely in use and is often the first security choice presented to users by router configuration tools.
Although its name implies that it is as secure as a wired connection, WEP has been demonstrated to have numerous flaws and has been deprecated in favor of newer standards such as WPA2.

WPA And WPA 2

WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) and WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access II ) are two security protocols for wireless networks from the Wi-Fi Alliance that was developed to provide a migration from WEP.
The Alliance defined these in response to serious weaknesses researchers had found in the previous system, WEP

How to Secure Your Wireless Network

1. Never use WEP as your encryption type, always use WPA Or WPA 2 as your encryption type

2.Use strong passwords , which can not be cracked easily by using a dictionary attack or brute force attack

3. Always Use a Vpn when your using pubic Wifi hotspots
